Message	but usually most of the amp has corss over which allow you to fine tune the bass frequency...however it would be nice to have one in dash let you have the control.. not in my z but in my minivan i have the Sony mobleES unit digital EQ and that thing is the shit...it let me control just about everything...seat position, bass frequencey, surrounding effect(hall, church,..stuff)..and you can choose the preset and your own setting...very good piece...however i don't belive you have place for it..not in a z anyway and it won't match up with the alpine unit.. as i know my friend has CVA-1005 and he doesn't have an EQ but his accord sounds x10 better because of his speakers' cross overs and cross over at the amp... i would suggest just tune the cros over at the best setting and just leave it there.....unless you can find more space for your EQ...since you are in california..why don't you give these people a call 6263363327 ask for chris Lee and talk to him..nice guy..told him that his "invisable roomate" referr you .. but i have to tell you up front..they don't carry alpine stuff...so..sorry Later,
